Hi! I’m Tina Russo Coash. I started my career as a veterinary technician/nurse, in Connecticut. While I loved veterinary medicine, I needed a way to incorporate my love of writing into my life. For this reason, I left veterinary medicine to specialize as a pet writer. I am now finishing my degree to be a Registered Veterinary Technician, to expand my knowledge. I continue to work as a pet writer.

My writing has appeared in MetroPet, Atlanta Petz, Carolina Bark, and Just Labs Magazine, to name a few. I served as the Editor-In-Chief of My Petz Magazine (Charlotte) from 2008 through 2010.

I hold a certificate in Professional Writing. This was earned from Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC, in 2015. Other certifications I hold involve animal welfare and disaster relief. I will complete my degree to sit for the Veterinary Technician National Exam in 2022.

Originally from Connecticut, I now live in the Midwest with my husband, USMC Sgt. William Coash. We have two children, and a zoo of pets. When I am not writing about pets or chasing children, I am working on my historical fiction novel. I also enjoy watching hockey (Go Bruins,) or the Mets!
